Swimming with the manatees

I was pre-informed that winter months may be a better timing to see manatees, so wasn’t expecting to see 3 of them in March! It was a happy surprise when 2 of them swam next to me, near the end of the swim. The boat drivers knew the spring and its creatures very well so they used their instincts and drones to spot manatees before other boats did, so we all were able to see a manatee in the end!
Sandwich was provided for lunch and we were able to eat outside of Homosassa State Park. The park was just right in size for a relaxing stroll after swim and lunch.
I want to visit again in the winter!
